Meal Preparation FAQs

  • It’s easy! I’ll go over a detailed intake form to find out more about your food preferences, any allergies or dietary restrictions (GF, DF, Nut Allergies, Keto etc), number and types of meals and packaging preferences. After that I will send you a menu to choose from and get you scheduled for your cook date!

  • Your service includes a personally designed menu with feedback and adjustments based on your preferences, grocery shopping, cooking in your home, packaging and labeling, reheating instructions and kitchen cleanup.

  • Packages are very customizable depending on the size of your family and the number and types of meals you would like. Popular options range from 3 dinners a week for a family of 4 to lunches and dinners for 5 days for a couple. We will discuss the number and type of meals you would like during our intake. I do breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as snacks!

  • I offer a variety of services - most common is the weekly service where I come on the same day of the week every week and provide your meal prep service. I also offer bi-weekly, monthly and one time services.

I currently have openings available but this changes frequently, reach out to find out more.

  • Nope! Most of my clients are not home during my services or are working from home. I also have clients who are home with young families and I am happy to chat with parents or kiddos while I work. I do ask that at the first service or a time prior that someone be home to show me around the kitchen, explain anything I might need to know and introduce me to your dogs. I am fully insured for your peace of mind and have many local references to make you comfortable.

  • Payments are accepted through both QuickBooks and Zelle. I will send you an invoice and you can choose to pay using a checking account, with Zelle or with a credit card (2.9% processing fee will be added to your invoice).

Deposits are taken when we book your first cook day. Your deposit will secure your spot in the schedule and will cover grocery shopping. The balance will be due after services are provided.

  • Absolutely! Do you have a family member who recently had a baby, surgery or is in bereavement? Have any elderly family member who needs help with healthy meals? Want to give your spouse the gift of time? Get in ouch with me and we can set up a plan to make my service the perfect gift.

  • For many people in our area YES! The average family of 4 going out to the local Italian restaurant will spend approximately $120 for a chicken dinner for 4 people (NOT including drinks or extras). The average family of 4 would spend $95 on a chicken dinner at a local meal pickup spot and STILL have to COOK AND CLEAN themselves! Grab a few boxes of Hello Fresh or Home Chef? Expect to pay $60 for the meal, cook and clean up yourself AND receive food of questionable quality and freshness.
