Personal Chef Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Personal Chef Assistant located in Evergreen, Conifer and the surrounding communities. This position will involve assisting our personal chef with various tasks related to meal preparation, kitchen organization, and grocery shopping. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for transportation, ensuring safe and timely travel, particularly in challenging mountain terrains.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the personal chef with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing ingredients, and following recipes.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and storing ingredients properly.

  • Accompany the personal chef on grocery shopping trips, helping to select fresh and quality ingredients.

  • Drive safely and efficiently in mountainous conditions to transport the personal chef to various locations, including client residences and local markets.

  • Communicate effectively with the personal chef to coordinate schedules and tasks.

  • Uphold professional standards and represent our organization positively in all interactions.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with experience driving in mountainous or challenging terrains.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Strong attention to detail in meal preparation and kitchen cleanliness.

  • Ability to follow recipes accurately and efficiently.

  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

  • Availability to work weekdays between 9am and 5pm

  • Must have or be willing to obtain a ServSafe certificate for safe food handling and preparation.

Position Details:

  • Employment Type: Independent Contractor (1099)

  • Hourly Pay: $20-25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

  • Location: Evergreen, Kittridge, Conifer and locations along 285 between Indian Hills and Shawnee
